I can tell a lot of effort went into this

I have a feeling the drum was sampled, was it?

Most of them were premade loops, yes.
One of them i actually programmed but i only used it as an undertone beat. I actually cut and moved some of the sample beats as well.
I recently got about 200 new samples from a friend of mine, and i found some drum and bass beats. I never had them in my collection before and just wanted to make something out of them. I totally agree that if only those weren't pre made loops the song would be about a million times better. I'm still learning. This was just a song i wanted to throw together and make it sound cool. I'm going to use it as a muse for anything else i create. Of course, i'll try to make it far more original. CHeck out my other songs, they're a lot more original.
